Honor's story
A lifelong passion for fishing and river ecology has given Honor a deep appreciation for the delicate balance of freshwater ecosystems. Over time, she witnessed a heartbreaking decline in biodiversity and growing threats to our water security - driven by pollution, habitat loss, and neglect. Seeing once-thriving stretches of river fall silent made it impossible to stand by. That’s what led her to get involved with Friends of the Thames after meeting their impressive CEO Laura Reineke: a chance to help protect and restore these vital waters for wildlife, for people, and for future generations. With a background in science, marketing and volunteering on projects around the thames, Honor will be aiding to mission of FoTT to link our communities from source to sea.
